Shipping Policy
1. Overview
This Shipping Policy explains how Avomart delivers your orders, expected timelines, fees, and what happens when something goes wrong in transit. Deliveries are fulfilled through Bob Go and its courier partners (The Courier Guy, Pargo, RAM, SkyNet, and others).
2. Where we deliver
We deliver to all major centres in South Africa. Outlying and rural areas are supported by our courier partners but may take longer and may incur a surcharge.
We do not currently ship outside South Africa.
3. Delivery timelines
Estimated delivery times are calculated from when your order is dispatched, not from when you place the order. Allow up to 1 (one) business day after payment confirmation for us to pick, pack, and dispatch.

These are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Delays can occur due to courier capacity, weather, public holidays, or matters outside our control.
4. Delivery fees
We offer two delivery options at checkout:
- Standard delivery — our default service.
- Express delivery — faster turnaround at a higher fee.
The fee for each option is displayed at checkout before you confirm payment. From time to time we may offer free delivery promotions; any applicable thresholds will be displayed on the Website.
5. Order tracking
Once your order is dispatched, you will receive an email with a tracking number and a link to follow your parcel. You can also view tracking from your account on the Website at /account/orders.
6. Delivery attempts and address accuracy
- Please ensure your delivery address and contact number at checkout are accurate. We are not liable for failed deliveries caused by incorrect information you provided.
- If the courier cannot reach you, they will attempt redelivery or leave a notification. Repeated failed deliveries may result in the parcel being returned to us.
- Parcels returned to us due to failed delivery can be redispatched at your cost, or refunded (less the original and return delivery fees).
7. Damaged or lost parcels
If your parcel arrives damaged or fails to arrive within 10 business days of dispatch:
- Email support@avomart.co.za with your order number and (for damaged parcels) photos of the packaging and contents.
- We will open a claim with the courier and either replace the items or refund you in full, including the original delivery fee.
8. Signature and proof of delivery
All parcels are delivered against a signature or scanned proof of delivery. If someone else accepts the parcel on your behalf at the delivery address, that constitutes valid delivery.
9. Risk in the goods
Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. We retain title to the goods until full payment has been received.
10. Public holidays and operating hours
Couriers do not collect or deliver on Sundays or public holidays. Orders placed after 12:00 on a Friday or on a weekend are dispatched the next business day. Delivery timelines exclude weekends and public holidays.
